Make sure to use Sichuan Peppercorn that will give this dish an interesting flavor. You can substitute the dried chili pepper with your local dried chili.

What’s “All spice powder “? Where can I buy it in Australia? Thanks, Aileen

    • Ethan Wong

Erm, usually it is at the dried herbs and spices rack. Or perhaps try a Chinese grocery shop, they should have it.

If you still couldn’t find it, simply replace with a light dash of star anise powder and cumin powder. (Additional option is cloves powder and cinnamon powder)
